Nearby Yachats, locals have a place they call "Hole in the Wall."
It is a rugged area of the coastline where the sea has worn a hole through a large rock outcropping.
For many years it has been a local favorite for agate hunting... although, each year, they seem to be scarcer and smaller.
This part of the coastline can only be accessed by either a long trek along the rocks or a very steep decent from above.
